Boasting one of the Seven Wonders of the World – the majestic Victoria Falls – and home to an abundance of wildlife, including Africa’s “Big 5” – buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and rhino – Zimbabwe is a country of untamed beauty.

Join us as we explore this amazing country and visit some of the projects MATTER and our partners are engaged in to improve communities for the people of Zimbabwe. We’ll tour project sites at hospitals, schools and farms in addition to visiting the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, spending a few days on safari at 5-star resorts in Hwange National Park, and enjoying a picture-perfect sunset cruise down the Zambezi River.

2025 Binga Hospital Insight Trip
Trip Date – June 14-23
Trip Price – $6,000 per person
(Add 25% for Single Occupancy)

Trip Itinerary

Day 1
Depart US

Day 2
Arrive in Johannesburg, South Africa and overnight layover at airport hotel.

Day 3
Morning flight to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Settle into Zambezi Boutique Guesthouse and enjoy a leisurely afternoon
Welcome happy hour on rooftop followed by group dinner in town

Day 4
Option for early morning gorge hike
Breakfast at leisure then depart for MATTER Project sites. Sites options include MATTER Career Readiness Institute, Victoria Falls Hospital, and Victoria Falls Boxing Academy.
Lunch at Simba’s Bakery, a Shamwari Lending Association recipient.
Guided walking tour of the majestic Victoria Falls followed by an afternoon game drive & bush dinner.

Day 5
Early morning charter flight to Binga
Visit to Binga Main Hospital for tour then take a 4-hour drive to Chisizya to visit Jeannie Burns Buckner Hospital for tour & outreach.
Overnight in individual tents

Day 6
Full day helping and participating at Jeannie Burns Buckner Hospital along with special visit to Chisizya High School
Overnight in individual tents

Day 7
Early departure from Chisizya to beautiful Hwange National Park.
Arrive at all-inclusive Ivory Lodge for Safari and enjoy an afternoon game drive in Hwange National Park.

Day 8
Morning & afternoon game drive in Hwange National Park.

Day 9
Depart Ivory Lodge and return to Victoria Falls Airport via flight and depart for Johannesburg, then continue to U.S.

Day 10
Arrive in U.S.
