Bill Popp, founder of Popp Communications, and his wife Teri have been incredible supporters of Matter throughout the years. With financial contributions which Matter leverages to expand access to health and food globally, Popp Communications has a history of making a difference in the Twin Cities and around the world. As a 2015 Company that Matters, Popp Communications continued their generous financial support to Matter and also donated a new office phone system to the Matter office, bringing increased office efficiency with much-needed technological advances to the team.

Through these actions, Popp Communications has changed the lives of those globally and next door, including families like Stacy’s, a mom in Apple Valley who’s children receive Free and Reduced Lunches in the school year, but each summer their family – with one unemployed parent – struggles to make end’s meet and provide healthy food for two teenagers. Through a partnership with Matter, the Summer Loaves program was able to provide more then 400 children like Stacy’s children with five healthy lunches a week all summer long. “I know that one day we’ll be back on our feet and we’ll be able to sponsor a family for the summer just like someone sponsored us.” says Stacy, as she thanks all of the supporters of Matter who have changed her family’s life this summer.
