Tammy Barreca

VP of Acquisitions

Tammy Barreca is the VP of Acquisitions at MATTER, responsible for procuring and developing medical supplies and equipment for the MATTER 360 program. With a strong background in global markets, philanthropy, ESG, and supply chain management, she brings over 30 years of experience in the small business and nonprofit humanitarian sectors.

Originally from Buffalo, New York, Tammy spent 15 years in Utah before relocating to Florida. Her career has been dedicated to creating impactful programs that empower women, children, and families, including initiatives in outreach, health, and wellness. She has also worked closely with Native American communities, providing education and confidence-building opportunities to support employment outside reservations.

For the past 15 years, Tammy has specialized in the medical industry, focusing on the procurement, repurposing, and recycling of medical supplies and equipment. Her efforts have saved millions of pounds of materials from landfills while redistributing critical medical resources both in the U.S. and internationally. Her dedication has earned her numerous community service awards, including a Presidential Humanitarian Award from the Order of St. George Grand Council.

Outside of work, Tammy enjoys spending time with her “grand treasures,” birdwatching, sewing, and airbrushing.
