MATTERbox & Volunteer Coordinator
Jayda has always aspired to work in a profession that empowers and supports people, especially the underprivileged and underrepresented. Prior to joining MATTER, she attended the University of Georgia where she graduated with a degree in Social Entrepreneurship for Consumer Well-Being, which combines traditional business strategies with social consciousness and sustainable solutions to global problems like environmental issues, education, healthcare, human rights, and other social challenges. As MATTERbox & Event Coordinator, Jayda overseeing the intake, production, and distribution of MATTERbox Volunteer Kits, while coordinating with internal teams and volunteers.
In her off time, Jayda loves to be active any way she can including running, hiking, yoga, playing basketball and tennis. She enjoys spending time with her large family, being the eldest of six, and counts her mom as her best friend. She also adores animals, especially cats.
